Biden Says Aid Package For Helene 'Can't Wait' Until After Election

(Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said a supplemental aid package for people affected by Hurricane Helene "can't wait" until after the Nov. 5 election.

"People need help now," Biden said. Congress is not scheduled to return to session until after the Nov. 5 election.
