Harris To Visit Storm-hit Georgia And North Carolina, White House Says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will visit areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene, traveling to Georgia on Wednesday and to North Carolina in coming days, a White House official said on Tuesday.

U.S. President Joe Biden will visit North Carolina on Wednesday. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who faces Democrat Harris in November's presidential election, traveled to Georgia on Monday.
