Tropical Storm Helene forms over northwestern Caribbean sea

(Reuters) - Tropical Storm Helene formed over the northwestern Caribbean and is expected to become a hurricane on Wednesday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory.

Tropical Storm Helene was located about 170 miles (275 km) south-southeast of the western tip of Cuba with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph (75 km/h), the Miami-based forecaster said on Tuesday.
